Startups in the Forefront of Battle Against Hackers

Today's Wall Street Journal has a nice piece about how a number of startups are working to make data privacy available to the average user on the Internet - starting from encrypted email, to anonymous temporary phone numbers to messages that vanish after a while.

The interesting thing is that data privacy is a problem that everyone is aware of but not something they would like to do something about right away because it is just too complex. As the article points out, the big internet companies are still not doing enough because they don't find it profitable.
